Do people use these?

I have the rancher version and i really like it but it's made from 52% cotton and 48% polyamide does this mean it will melt if hit by flying sparks?

Anyway i like it, it's really simple but heavy.

if their wellies are anything to go by, they'll be a quality bit of kit...dont own a jacket by them myself. as far as im aware polymide is only flammable if it hasnt been treated. i think most cothing with polymide in generally gets treated. im sure someone who knows a lot more than me will be along soon...

I have the Aigle Hobbs, which is a shooting style jacket. It's got a coated polyester outershell and is reasonably waterproof (2000mm HH) and well constructed. I haven't had any problems from sparks etc but to be honest I haven't purposely tested its fireproof qualities. It's a good weight and copes with most things.
