Afternoon Ramble

[Nalsheen]

During one of the breaks in the rain yesterday I went for a short walk. Nothing very exciting, just exploring some of the local area I don't know.
Following a country lane I came across an old mill I didn't know was there.

It's a huge place but hidden in woodland.

Further on I passed this place:

I don't know if its still operational or if my mind was just playing tricks on me but I could definitely smell brewing beer whilst walking past.

Eventually ended up at this place for a little bit of shopping.

Then retraced my steps to get home, crossing the river.

A good afternoons walk. I probably caught the last patch of sunshine we're going to see here for a while.

Looks like you had a nice day out, you seen a bit pessimistic about the weather though... hey it's the UK, we can live with bad weather if needs be. Brewery still going, link at top.

Nice wander round this area. Always nice to see places being explored.

Lots of things growing on the banks of the river and plenty of birds in the surrounding area. I didn't spot any fish but that doesn't mean they aren't there.
RE the weather, I don't mind the rain really. Im just a bit jealous of everyone that got to enjoy the last couple of lovely weekends we've had whilst I was stuck in work
