Adirondacks-Like Pack Basket Commission

Hi

I'm hoping someone is able to recommend a UK-based basket maker at the top of his/her game that would accept a commission to make an Adirondacks-like “pack basket” in brown ash or similar to my preferred measurements please. I only require the basket with key strap attachment detailing as leather work (harness/straps etc.) is something I can do.

The below are a few examples of the sort of thing I have in mind albeit I need it to be about a third to a half narrower:

The person I had in mind (AJS Crafts) for this long put off project has moved abroad.

If you can’t find on a maker using ash strips then a lady called Karen at https://www.naturallyuseful.co.uk/ could probably make you a wicker version perhaps.

Jules Wagstaff gave regular basket weaving workshops at the bushmoot, she was very good. It may be worth looking her up.
