SWAG = scientific wild-a**ed guess
BITH= "Banged in the head" or non functional
FNG= "flipping" new guy
JAFO= Just another "flipping observer"
plan F= "if you can't fix it, F it"
NG or NDG= no good or no D-nd good
ID10T= high maintenance user

...It's fun acclimatising to the jargon - bivis, bashas, hootchies, billies and my personal
favourite 'poncho liner' :D

"Poncho Liner" actually isn't jargon. That is exactly what the are; liners to be tied inside of an issue poncho used as a makeshift sleeping bag. T least that was the original intended use. They kinda took on a life all their own. The jargon term for them is "woobie."
 
Is it so hard to type out full words? Remember not all our members use English as a first language although would recognise something basic like 'LOL' which is pretty universally used, certainly in Europe.
 
might want to toss in a link to the hammock acronyms - I think those people over on hammock forums have such a list

otherwise it might be in order to add things like WS - whoopie sling, UCR - utility constrictor rope, UQ - under quilt, TQ - top quilt
