I don't like them either, sickly things but the kids like that sort of thing.

Years ago, when my sister and I were very young, my parents took us out to the woods to find the legendary "Lollipop Tree". We entered some young conifer forest, probably Christmas trees. And there, in the middle, was a tree entirely covered with lollipops. We picked as many as we could, not really noticing the sellotape and string that my mum and dad had strung them all up with the day before.
Fact is, I still remember it to this day.
Oh, and I do love a Cream Egg too
