i,ve got a load of ventile lying on the roll, i,ve been wondering what to do with it for some time ,and i,ve been threatening to buy a new tatonka tarp so i thought i might make one for over my hammock.anybody made one before and do you think it is worth making in ventile,maybe even a tarp tent ,but i dont have a template or anyone to make it yet,any ideas ?

I would say that it would be a waste of good fabric to make a tarp out of ventile.

If you really want to make a tarp Eric Methven did the plans for a canvas tarp. Though I'd tend to agree with Wasteoid, you'd earn more than enough selling the material to buy yourself a tatonka tarp and not have all the hassle of making one
