Excellent post as always Patrick! I love the spit arrangement, will be remembering that one, cunning!

- just one comment though....... I understand that spring arrives later as you go further north but we had spring down here over 6 months ago!!!!

Looks lovely. Nice Pics. I don't think I've ever seen that method of bowdrill or spitmaking. How long were you out for? If that's simple I'd like to see elaborate.
