A Sad Loss

Bushcrafter (boy, I've got a lot to say!)
Saw this news last night so when I hit the sack I flipped on the TV and DVD player and watched Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger in his honour.

I remember being freaked out as a young nipper that way those skeletons moved in Jason and the Argonauts, gave me nightmares for a while too. A very influential man and he managed to live to a ripe old age.

That ^ is my favourite animated scene in any movie, bar none.
There's a scene in King Kong where the T rex scratches its ear, I like the fact that animators who got left to their own devices for months on end used to add little details like that.
Its at about eight seconds into this clip.

Damn, another great lost! I much preferred his style of work over the modern cgi stuff.
