While up at the Scottish meet up at Comrie I got Everything Mac (Andy) to make me up a couple of carving knife blades for me.
Im wanting to get a little more into Viking reenacting so wanted to put together a carving set that I could use

Heres what the blades looked like when I brought them home

This it the Birch handles I made up for them which are glued on with my own mix of glue

just a little of what they can do now there shaving sharp

my new carving kit

while I was in the shed I also made up a new sheath for my trail hawk to

we swapped the pair for a frost's laplander 90 blank. - cheaper than I would have normally sold them for as I had no way of finishing them off and cleaning them up. But I knew Russ was more than capable so we traded.

Russ has done a great job on them though so its all good.
