Carrying on from the Estwing thread, by coincidence I just received email notification of the new Council Tool Velvicut. While I definitely don't need any more axes, I do like the looks of the Hudson Bay style. The video on how these are made is here http://youtu.be/xNQbzQCByX4

thanks for that bud, love the vids you find, and really enjoy watching them, have been thinking about getting a knife out of 5160 for a while as its one steel i have not tryed and don't have in my collection would like to see what the edge holding is with it, the best to date i have found, is 3g powder steel for the edge holding.

Interesting video. These production lines make it look so easy. My axe is an old Walters Black Diamond which I'm sure was made
in a much more low-tech production facility. Got any vintage axe-making vids?
