A new Birch bowl

Today after a bit of charcloth making I roughed out a new bowl today,this is the first time i have used my knew knife (the name of which escapes me!) and this particular style of bowl,i will let it season for a week or so before tool finishing it.

its a stock knife traditionally used by clogmakers, although I've often played with the idea of getting one for carving bowls they're great for removing large amounts of wood with little effort
