Not been on for ages but Dave and Nathan (Morch and Scout) keep me up to date. Hope everyone is well. Something I scribbled down this afternoon:


The Bushcraft Boys

The bushcraft boys are all the same,
They go on meets and play there games,
Some take guns, bows and arrows,
Knifes galore and hand held showers.

All in all we know the score,
Its men alone away from home,
A dram or two against the cold,
In the hammocks they will rock n roll.

The bushcraft boys return

The bushcraft boys are home again,
Back from the war or just the weekend,
All there toys are put away,
Until another weekend game,

They’re a worn out from sitting down,
Chatting and drinking till the midnight hour,
Bottle after bottle gets passed around,
Never a drop falls on the ground,

In the morning it’s NEVER AGAIN,
Famous last words but you never can tell,
But it’s been fun can’t wait for the next,
And it’s all they can do to crawl into bed.
