England's most easterly point
I made this knife as a commission for a friend who lives abroad. It's designed by him and members on another forum as a bushcraft knife, but from the point of view of their needs.

The blade is full tang 01 tool steel, with a welded pommel, similar to the Skookum bush tools The cutting edge is 85mm, about 23mm wide. The handle scales are green linen Micarta.

I was not so sure about the practicality of the shape but it's actually a very easy, comfortable knife to hold and use.

Thanks for looking.

Hehehe...:) got to do these things, Mike, got to!

Why a "different take"?

BOD, only insofar as it's designed from the point of view of the Dutch bushcrafters and their perceived needs, rather than a British view of what a bushie should be, that was all.:)
