Singtek insists on using heavy brass fittings - no noise at all. The baldric still has the slight "creak" of new leather, but its getting a saddle soaping shortly which will protect, soften and silence :D

One suggestion. Suppose you put a flat strap on the back to make a belt loop. Then, to make it into the same style, you could slip a short strap through the flat loop, that has the rings on each end. this would give you the option of either carrying it on the belt or by the rings. Just a thought. :)

If he did, it would have to either be a WIDE strap or preferably, two thinner straps, otherwise, it would wobble on the baldric, using the strap as a pivot point... This would remove the advantage of having two rings, and you might as well just have both baldric clips clip onto just one ring...
