A decent £100 camera for outdoors ?

Here is my problem , i have £100 to spend on a camera for taking picture's when iam out and about !
Your help and suggestions would be grately appreciated as allways !

You can pick up mint Canon G9 cameras on ebay for around £100 - until recently they were one of the best compact cameras around and will still give you a much better photo than a brand new lower end model.

I have an Olympus Stylus Tough 6000 10mp waterproof and shockproof camera. I paid £90 for it and I use it for underwater fishing shots. Its a really tough camera little camera for all weather outdoor pursuits, I highly recommend it.

I have a fujifilm one, waterproof and shockproof, use it for camping/sailing.

GE G3WP. An amazing bit of kit. I have three for my business, they will take a knock are waterproof and have an outstanding array of features for a little camera. I have taken my white water rafting in Scotland and we both got very wet and I happily let my kids take it outside to play.

A little over your budget but like I say, I have 3 for work. We do house clearances and maintenance work so they take a bit of a battering.

Hi Northumbrian,if you can stretch you budget to another 20 pound i would highly recommend this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fujifilm-Fi...QS/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1300706588&sr=8-16 it has all the features of a DSLR. We bought one for my eldest daughter and i was so impressed i ended up getting one for myself.

Bought a decent Sony which was a refurb from my buddies at Lakeside Optics for the nipper and it's a good camera. There are decent savings on refurb kit out there and as they all have new pcb's etc they're as good as a new one..............
