A day out at Selborne, Hampshire

Had planned for a few days in Kent with some mates over the weekend but couldn't make it unfortunately, so settled for a day trip to Selborne, and a stiff walk up the Zig Zag path to the top of the Selborne Hanger and Common.

A lovely day, once I'd got my breath back at the top, lots of roe deer around as it was early in the day, and managed to find a quiet spot to put up my new dd lightweight hammock, kept in my pack for day hikes, for a break and some lunch and a brew, before heading back down.

Lovely spot Paul, pity you couldn't make it to Kent, it was a goodun. Not as many as usual, but a class bunch.

The hangers over at Steep are pretty too. There's a mental steep green lane up to the top, your Jeep would love it.
