Just finished these last night, thought you minght like a look

Thought I'd try a face without the fungus for a change

I'm really pleased with how the walking stick came out, it's carved from oak and was a right pig to carve! The spacer is lime.

Thanks everyone The incence holders take about 4 hours, the walking stick took around 6 to do.

It's very easy to get addicted to carving I'm much more a maker than a bushcrafter when it comes down to it. I've been offered some space on a stall at Northamptons Unconventional Market in a few weeks, so it's busy busy busy till then

When's that? I'll have to try to get down there and say hello. Is it at the old fish market? Seasoned oak is a nightmare to work with. Looks great though, grand effort!
