The Vango Mk1 is from the early 80s and was quite rare, being a sub 1.5 kg tent. If it wasn't losing its waterproofing I'd still hapilly be using this tent.
The Vapour is as stable as any of the other tents but being a single skin design means it suffers from condensation. It does however weigh less than 1 kg.
The Akto is my main 4 season tent and weighs about 1.8Kg with an additional footprint and extra pole for extra strength.
At 900g the laser Comp is my 3 season backpacking tent.
The Snugpak was an experiment to see if I could get by with a bivi rather than a tent. We got on OK so I spent a small fortune on the Saturn. In many ways the Snugpak is the better bivi, but superior materials and construction mean that the Saturn is my go-to shelter for severe weather. The Saturn is heavy (but robust) at 1.1Kg.

The laser saves weight by using weeny 2g titanium pegs.

Got the Saturn and laser Comp me sen, great tents

They're not getting used much since I bought the Trailstar and light bivvy though, neither is the Helium 100, NF Mountain Marathon, GoLite SL3, army goretex bivvy or the Snugpak Survival Zone.

I like little shelters but I think I need a clearout.

tent porn!

I'm just looking into getting a better two man tent for hiking/walking, thinking of Terra nova, any recommendations there?

Field and trek has got the Wild Country Zephyros 1 and 2 at the moment. These are similar to the Laser Comps but heavier - have a look on outdoorsmagic for an owners thread.

So where would you pitch your sailor bed here?

I'd rather have the extra water.

Spot on reply chap regarding hammocks, although I prefer bigger tent to be honest.

The spot above Devil's Kitchen was a firm favourite camp spot of mine when I was very active in Snowdonia, around 1972-1985. If the weather was really poor I'd pitch down by Idwal.

There's no trees there mate, a bit hard to tie a hammock to! :lmao:

I would have to forget about sleeping comfortably and bumcrawl into a lumpy bed.

Where are you sleeping ?
