I have never seen much ice on Ennerdale I thinks it because the water is pumped from so low down in the lake stopping it from getting cold enough. I may be wrong though. I took these on Thursday just before the thaw.

10 minutes later a breeze picked up and the surface was broken all luck/timing really I met a guy half an hour later who'd missed the reflections.
