Hi...I took part in last years Guide Dog Survival Challenge but without the 4 x 4's. It was my first time for anything like that...had an awesome time and I'm sure you're going to have the same.

I found Woodsmoke to be very professional in all aspects of the business and the knowledge the instructors had was outstanding.

Are you / have you advertised this in your own local newspaper, and by advertised I mean
contacted the newsdesk? Even if it's too late for the next issue it might be worth having
some photos after the event and contacting them to tell them that this is what you did
and why. Our local newspapers have all sorts of weird and wonderful things in them, and
plenty of charity-related stuff.

Might get a bit of local publicity and that might translate to donations. Might not of
course...

Local radio...?

For anyone else wondering about the event, this is the official page:

The picture on the PDF makes me feel a bit 'homesick':

What does cooking 'via manifold' entail? I've never heard of that word, other than in
referring to a pump found in laboratory machinery.

Did you enjoy the challenge?
How did the manifold cooking go? I am still quite intrigued by this (probably because I
don't have a car and can't drive).

Someone posted on the ethnobotany facebook group about their Adventures in Food
blog (which is absolutely fascinating) and while pootling around it I discovered a link to
a post about cooking on your car engine which also included a section on cooking a
lasagne in your dishwasher :)
