horrified at how her kit list only has a small SAK. where is the ESSENTIAL signed woodlore knife, spyderco, gransfors bruks forest axe and all the other crap bushcrafters seem tae find a neccessity

She has certainly been around and puts most of us to shame.
But she seems to stick to the popular routes (AT, Bibbulman, etc.) so she has no need for "essential" bushcraft items.
I was feeling quite inferior till I read her jungle treks. Her sense of what was possible was way out and the jungle put her in her place very firmly. What was amusing was that she was not in hard-core jungle.
I wish I could get away the way she has (choking with envy).
