I don't know how many of these you could make from 20m of £ shop paracord, let's say 4 (so 25p each). I'd rather take a 25p loss on each one, to be honest. Might be selling some for MacMillan later on
Glad I'm not alone in this. I saw them in a local jewellers window with donations going to H4H - at first I thought it was a cool idea, but when I learned how little actually goes to the charity.... well it makes me raise my eyebrows anyway.
My pointles 4 items:
1) Axe
2) Folding saw
3) Multiple knives
4) Whoopie slings
1) Yes
2) Yes
3) I'd be inclined to take a bushcraft knife and either a SAK or a Leatherman for the other functions they provide
4) They are expensive and not actually that easy to use but I like them (come on, they're called "Whoopie!!") and they are light
Glad to have opened up the box...
3) Multiple knives. Why take two or more tools that do the same job? If you loose things that often, tie them to you.
Where on earth did you hear that?every time you tie a knot or work a piece of rope you weaken it..
4) Whoopie slings. Evil things from the dark realms of Arboriculture........
Just something that I thought was true, sounds like I'm wrong though!Where on earth did you hear that?
There is no can of worms or contention, these things are only pointless to you and your way of doing things, unless you are telling people how to enjoy there time spent out doors then it all just personal style,
pointless: pre-made fire bow sest - not if I can be the seller - think I might start a home business!
Sporks
