30th birthday bash

[Man of Tanith]

So last weekend myself lady of tanith(lisa) mesquite, xander and a friend went camping to pre empatively celebrate my 30th(its this friday but baby sitters and so on resulted in going early)
the pile of kit we took and xander and lisa setting up xanders tent

mesquite putting up the tarp's ridge line

lisa preparing chorizo

lisa and matt making bannock the little bag of white powder is baking powder honest

frying the chorizo and sealing the pork

me playing chef and making a gravy to cook the pork in

lisa's bannock

zebra meat on a stick

folk enjoying the bannock and chorizo

cooked zebra meat and darn tasty it was too not sure how to describe the taste other than good

big dutchie-slow roast pork small dutchie venison

the slow roast pork finished

lisa enjoying a bit of the pork

lisa bedded down in her new hammock with underquilt that mesquite helped us work out (cheers steve)

the next morning matt and xander sat around the fire lisa is still tucked up in her hammock
