3 Bushcrafty things that you enjoyed today?

1: Made a lid for my French army issue "Crusader" cup that comes with the canteen.

2: Chopped a load of kindling for the woodburner, it's a real pleasure using an axe, until one log I split broke too easily and the blade bit into concrete. (yes should have had it resting on a chopping block I know, just being lazy as it kept falling off the chopping log I have)

3: Resharpened the axe (rackem frackem!!)
 
1. made a hobo stove for my zebra billy 12cm,( been hunting for months for the rite strainer)
2. been practicing a few knots
3.got a brew on ;)
 
Making a few spoons, and roughing out a few axe handles, also sharpening and stropping many knives and axes.
 
Well i got the horn!!

erm well i ordered some horn for some handle projects
also picked some birch bracket to have a crack at a strop
harvested a tone of birch bark from a recently felled tree cos you can never have enough lol

me too, but then i do that every day so not sure it counts as anything special. did see long talied tits on my garden for the first time though so that was nice.

did a little bit more work on a kuska that i've been making for a little while now
complimented bendave on his first woodspirit (surely encouraging words to a fellow bushcrafter count don't they?)

Replaced the food in my car kit. Changed the water in same.

Ordered a rubberised ex-warsaw pact messanger bag as my canvas bag keeps getting wet ( a fiver delivered off fleabay)

Took delivery of some swedish army wristlets

Not really much but there you go for a monday :)
 
Made felt pouches for my wife's SAK Farmer, and my daughter's SAK Climber with a drawstring and bamboo toggles with their runes pyrographed on, and lanyards to match.

Quite pleased with the results and hope they make good xmas presents.
