I've heard a whisper the SAS have started using 2.5mm paracord made with kevlar, bulletproof so they dont get their bashas shot down in battle. Thats hush hush though. ;)

No, that's sash cord you idiot... which, as anyone knows, is jute.

Anyway, 36mm paracord is just the old 1/7th inch stuff which, since Imperial was banned, is being phased out in favour of 37mm, which works better in continental Europe.
