Here we go. A tiny bit more sanding to do. The grain really dictated the shape here. The stunning colours haven't yet faded on my last lilac spoon, so fingers crossed for this one.

lovely job Mike, Lilac is great isnt it?, lovely to carve green, but dries and sets like concrete.

Thanks - A little bit stringy, but generally lovely to work. I find it hard to get a tooled finish on though.

Just time and practice im afraid Mike, but, i do find it takes me longer to get a the tooled finish on Lilac than almost any other wood ive used
