I am having to let my beautiful 1951 Singer 95k40 industrial sewing machine go due to needing the space. She is mounted in the original lovely looking 1950's Formica and hardwood cabinet and had a new 240V mains clutch motor fitted some years back. The treadle is sensitive enough to stitch one at a time unlike more modern clutch motors. The cable and switch were newly fitted when it was serviced last year.
The motor runs smooth as a nut and the machine will easily stitch multiple layers of heavy canvas or about 10mm of leather in excellent condition. The leather belt has many years of life left in it and it would be an beautiful addition to anyone's workshop.
She has served me well but needs a new home
She will need collecting from Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire and I would like what I paid for her as she has been serviced and fitted with new cable and switch which is £150 cash on collection.
Thanks for looking
