    Back Quiver

that's a nice looking quiver, I use a back quiver and never had many problems with arrows falling out, a nice neodimium magnet glued in the bottom will sort that out tho. Biggest issue for me is getting them back in and yours has a narrow neck, that may prove a bit difficult as it it is over...

    Kuksa problems

My Kuksa was made from a split Birch log that had seasoned for about a year. I guess I didn't make it the most traditional way.....axe, saw, bushy knife and rasp for the outside, then when it came to hollowing out, the wood seemed like kryptonite so I used a crook knife to a couple of inches...

Have a keg. Will make something out of it. Any ideas?

I've got 2 of those, did the most useful thing with them too......... Filled em full of home brew!! if you want to make a burner, I'd follow Demographic's lead and stick to a gas bottle, since you really need 2, one for the donor door and the other for the burner. And they are easier to...

    Mice in a house.

Ive always had good success with putting an old fashioned (glass) milk bottle on it's side at about 20-30 degrees off horizontal, in the cupboard with good old cheese in. The mouth of the bottle is propped up on an old t-shirt or towel to give them some way to climb in and stop the bottle...

    Matts Jerky

Matt, Stop there. It is a disease, it's an addiction. Before you know it, you will be in a nice restaurant, your other half will order a steak, then when you look at it, you will dream of eating that steak jerky'd. Quit now before you spend countless pounds on minute steaks and soy...

I'm making a trailer for my bike...

Hi LS, Thats a nice bit of kit. The Universal joint must'v been a bugger to make, however if it fails or needs replacing often, i would recommend using a track rod end off a car steering rack as a replacement, Ive used one before on a homemade electric mountainboard with a trailer. strong...
