Ah I didn't realise you had started your degree, what was it you were doing it in again? :o Ouch about the cost, not cheap these courses.
Not too bad thanks, getting a bit more experience. But things are quiet at the moment.
Awww Hope your feeling better soon Refly.
Plum rolls do sound tasty though as does the blackberry jelly. Are you still planning on doing the degree too?
I'm not too bad thanks. How is the job at the pub going? Are you staying there for a while or is it just to tie you over until you sort something else out.
Just finished bottling this years sloe gin. And am now enjoying a glass of it that wouldn't fit in the bottle. mmmmm Such a shame the...
Hopefully some one can help me out here, a few years ago while out training for the DoE expedition we stayed at a very basic small campsite, read field (not sure if there were toilets/sink but I don't think there were). Now I've not idea on where this was as it was a while ago and I don't have...
Thats one of the slight issues I have with the hunka, the toploading entry. But as usual its weighing up the pros and cons.
Bikething - Yes only 5 weeks for you, it will soon be upon us. I will have a think and let you know in the next couple of days.
I did a search before posting but I had obviously missed that review.
Well I don't have a down bag and I'm similar in build to a rake so I can't see the size being too much of an issue. But out of interest would a sleeping mat be able to fit inside?
Would be good to hear your report jonno...
Judging by the rest of alpkits gear that I own, I have found their products to be great value for money. Is this the case with the Hunka. Or am I better off spending my money elsewhere?
Cheers
Here my better ones from the night shoot. Really good to eventually try the light painting, been meaning to try it but never got round to it.
Taken the night before but I thought I would include it anyway.
It would seem that the answer is pretty clear to avoid the edge chipping is to put a small secondary bevel on the edge. Thanks for the help everyone. And I'm glad it wasn't just me.
After watching the marvel comics Iron man movie last year I bought the soundtrack to the film. And although being slightly disappointed that some of the songs were missing, what was on the album made up for it. Can anyone recommend any other music or soundtracks in a similar style as I really...
Hi Javapuntnl, I too have the same issue with the D2 enzo. I've hardly used mine yet and have 2 nicks out of the edge already. I know D2 steel is quite a brittle steel but I didn't think the edge could be damaged so easily.
Yes here is some more information about tatajuba. http://hobbithouseinc.com/personal/woodpics/tatajuba.htm I can take a photo of the wood in question if you would prefer. The only drawback with it is that it darkens quite significantly over time as the above link should show.
I also definitely...
I would be interested to know what you think of the supershelter as I was contemplating getting one myself. Although most of the reviews I read didn't reckon the SS was all its cracked up to be in the lower temperature ranges, which put me off a bit.
SimonM - What size compression sack do you...
