    2 blade serpentine jack knife

My first go at this pattern. The little sheepfoot blade is surprisingly useful for sharpening pencils and opening packages. The long blade is good for boning chicken and slicing oranges Sits very easily in the pocket too.

    Frontier style NATO folder

Rustic bone handled folder with O1 steel blade and thick brass liners. Its got the base of a Nato 7.62mm cartridge case for shield. Just under 3 inch long blade. I finished it with a fairly rough finish similar to other "primitive" or "frontier" style knives.

    Folding bushcraft knife

I like to think this is a bushcraft knife, its quite sturdy and the D2 blade keeps a good edge and is rust resistant. Best of all the open back makes it easy to clean, a problem I find with traditional folders that can get a bit gunky and you have to use a cotton bud and a bit of meths to give...

Bushy knife in CPM 3V super tough steel

This is my bushy knife made of CPM 3V steel, linen micarta riveted with nickel silver rod. I heat treated the 3V to maximum toughness and will be testing it soon with wood cutting and batonning to see how well it does compared to a standard knife with an O1 blade. CPM 3V is the toughest steel...

    New bushy knife design

Here are some photos Cones on BB did for me, I hope you like them. They are a new design I did. Its a variation of the well known bushy knife with a full height grind to help with slicing and fine cutting but with the edge and tip kept quite thick for batoning and drilling. The handle is...

    Ash for bowmaking

I would like to know where to buy some ash suitable for bowmaking. I understand air dried is better than kiln dried. I expect having to do quite a few before getting it right so don't want to spend a lot on a proper bow stave just yet.
