I recently went and found myself some fatwood. It's amazing, the stuff was just like sticking out the ground and it's free!! RESULT!!
Once i'd let it dry a little i had a go at filling my tin!!
It's not all 'A' grade but it burns a treat. Vas and balls next!!:)
I've seen people review the coffee in bag and thought it was a bit steep for a cuppa. I don't like the fact that it leaves a lot of waste packaging. Yes i know you can burn it but the paper is coated in plastic so will leave a shrivelled up piece of plastic.
I've always been a fan of a decent...
Been looking at these.
Pretty pricey for what they are. Has anyone got an alternative that is cheaper?
I'm after storage of things like tea, coffee, powdered milk etc etc.
Had cause to use my, non locking, Victorinox champ the other day and i found myself being a little apprehensive.
I think the reason for it was it not being a fixed or locking blade that was causing concern. I like my pinkies as they are and remember getting a few injuries when younger...
Collected some resin today and tried to clean my hands with handy Wet Wipes...nothing!!
Didnt really shift the stuff.
Was wondering if anyone knew of any wipes that would shift the stuff whilst still out in the field?
First is a small piece of Yew i acquired whilst on a Woodlore course.
Antler for the 2nd one.
Preparing the steel so that the epoxy will hold better to the smooth steel.
Hole fully drilled using a flat wood drill/bore.
Same on the Antler.
All glued up and left to cure...
