    recommendations for a large backpack?

I've got a Karrimor Predator 45 + side pouches which makes it 75 litre capacity. Heaviest I've loaded is 20kg but I'm sure that it'll bear more weight than I can! There is the option to put stuff between the side pouches and the main pack, I put my walking poles there (there are small...

    Which Backpack Have You Got?

I've got a Karrimor Predator 45 + two side pouches. It's not light (2.7kg) but it's 75 Litres capacity and well made. I'm 5'9" and it's a comfortable fit on my back (up to 20kg). I was a bit cagey about spending £150 on a rucksack but I'm pleased I did!

Camping for 3 days: What size rucksack would be best?

Sports Direct currently has a 65L Karrimor rucksack going for £32 and Millets has several tents at £25 which I can afford this month. I got two 44L dry-sacks from Aldi @ £2.99 each. I'd like to buy a micro-tangia with a view to getting a Honey-stove at a later date.

    Hi, I'm Gareth from Birmingham

I grew up in Wiltshire, played in the woods, built dens and enjoyed family camping holidays. Over the years I've become more and more divorced from the natural world. While living in a big city has it's advantages, I miss the countryside and would like to learn bushcraft.
