Bought my Dutch Army Bivi bag with zip mod from Kitmonster.co.uk (£55). Kev at Endicotts is snowed under hence alternative source. Arrived this morning and very pleased with it. Nothing to do with kitmonster etc etc.

Welcome Lukem, have a look around the site and use the search button for each item your looking for, Tarp, Hammock, Bivi bag etc. Sometimes a direct pm to someone who has that kit can help too. Do plenty research so you dont end up changing kit too soon.
Cheers

Hi,
Dont own one but have used one recently. PM Coln18 it was his I used at the brownlee meet and its a great axe, splits logs like butter.

What ever he did it was a sore one.
Understandable how easy when you think that most of us who own an axe keep it sharp enough to shave with.
Another reason to make sure we all have a well stocked FAK with us.
Ouch

I wear these trousers for kicking about and they are very comfy. Also change into a pair before getting in my hammock if its cold and put on fresh socks - Toasty :)

Hi,
Ive got the Tarp DVD and its a decent informative watch. Basic knots youll need and 3 setups to go for. You can find most of this stuff kickin around the net if you look hard enough. Dont expect a Blockbuster movie though.
Heltor Im surprised youve not been able to get anyone at...
Hi all
Brownlee looks so different in the snow. Can just make out the fire surround. Did you find the log stash?
Give us a shout next time your heading up there. Thanks for pics.

Hi Aron, thanks for your reply.
Im in a DD Travel hammock at the moment and was looking to upgrade. I reckon comfort sleeping is a must so was scouting around.
Anyone else with any experience of Clarks or similar?
