  • Ah I didn't realise you had started your degree, what was it you were doing it in again? Ouch about the cost, not cheap these courses.
Not too bad thanks, getting a bit more experience. But things are quiet at the moment.
Awww Hope your feeling better soon Refly.
Plum rolls do sound tasty though as does the blackberry jelly. Are you still planning on doing the degree too?
I'm not too bad thanks. How is the job at the pub going? Are you staying there for a while or is it just to tie you over until you sort something else out.
Just finished bottling this years sloe gin. And am now enjoying a glass of it that wouldn't fit in the bottle. mmmmm Such a shame the bottle was full:rolleyes:
I only made it to the outdoor shops - bought a 55p bar of chocolate kendal mint cake in blacks - it had a security tag stuck to it :yelrotflm
And a happy new year to you. I'm just contemplating heading into the city centre - not sure I can face the crowds.
Clowance? Suit? You know more than me. I'll probably be out kayaking (hopefully, by the sounds of it!) ;)
Swimming? That only happens as a by-product of SURFING ;)
I'll be paddling to see Mousehole lights tomorrow evening, but that's sea-kayaking and probably won't involve swimming.
Home tomorrow! Woohoo! :) What's this mad cap idea about going swimming?! Lol :)
Don't forget to factor in the emergency rations she'll pile into your car for the journey home "in case you get break down in the snow"...
Probably best to make sure you're very hungry before you get down here. Mother keeps saying things like "there's compulsory chocolate cake for you" and we're having 3 roast dinners in a row at Christmas - one on the Friday (Christmas day), one on the Saturday (Boxing day) and one on the Sunday. I'm sure it happens every year. How come Christmas is always on a Friday in our household???
Aw - what a lot of good people you've got lookin' after you :) Excellent. Yeah - I reckon the decorative stuff would be more interesting for you anyway as the full paint job would just be boring and hard work and bla bla. Decorative stuff is creative and fun and not so much heavy labour.
Ok, well sleep well and hope you feel better tomorrow :)
I went to the pool practise kayak session tonight and now feel much more confident about rolls - woo hoo! My canoe club are all stars.
I just answered you but it got lost somewhere. So I'll be briefer this time :) I'll be ok tomorrow, i just got out of bed wrong side this morn. And I'm looking forward to Christmas :) and I'll chat then. E x
Yes sorry. I was being defeatist. Got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning :) And keep forgetting to buy food too which is never good. And my dreams are upsetting me a bit because Liz is making me remember them and she points out the obvious that i didn't see. I feel like I'm working so hard in so many ways but still have to somehow make a living too and it feels like a lot, but not the kind of lot you can explain to anyone.
I'm lookin forward to Christmas :) And I'll probably be ok tomorrow too :)
