    I've done it too--it worked. But as others have said, it does take rather a long time to polish to the required shine.(It took me about 2 1/2 hours work i think?) It is a great feeling when it works too :) Cheers Sam

    Hi people, I have recently beome the possessor of a broken arm :o . Soo to pass the time until it is fixed i would like to do something bushcrafty using only using 1 hand :rolleyes: The only trouble is i cant think of anything involving only 1 hand :confused: help please! cheers, Sam :)

    For me i found that just sitting ouside after the dark helps, I got used to night noises and sights. I even managed to spot a couple of badgers :D . Then from there try walking back home from where ever you are. Walk somewhere familiar during the day then try to do it at night after you know...

    yes it is spagnum moss! you have to wring it out first (like a sponge). Normally i try to dry it aswell by rubbing it or tucking it in my shirt. its quite flamable !
