    Guys , looking for a bit of advice. I recently bought a 10 lt roll up water container for cannoeing trips, worked well the first few nights , but the last time i used it it had a stong smell of TCP. My new baldder has the same problem , what it the reccomended way of getting rid of this smell...

    amazing 4 inch hand drill fire!!

    Hands are starting to get callauses and blisters ,but no ember yet! Any advice on the materials , iam using a hazel drill with a Elder end piece and clemtis heart board.

    Great knife it can be batoned and really manhandled and if it does break , well it's not that expensive to replace. Great value for money.

    The bushman actually use a poison (paste made from a beetle) on their arrows to take down large animals. the arrows that i have seen have no fletching and the arrow heads are detachable so when the arrowhead pieces the skin the shaft falls free and can be reused. They then chase the animal down...

    What really got me thinking was how hard it seems to stalk deer with a high powered rifle and scope! How did our ancestors manage to get close enogh to use bow and arrow or did they rely on snares/ traps?
