On Saturday the swifts arrived in NE Scotland, screaming above our garden, the swallows have been back about ten days and we watched an Osprey catch a fish 50 yards from where we saw young otters two years ago. Love this time of year.

Glad you are happy with it. I sonly old it due to £800 in car bills this year. Can't keep them all.

Preferably with a decent handle and in line edge. These are quite rare it seems and many I see now have the edge out of line with the handle. Thanks

I watched Ray Mears online launch of his book 'We are Nature' and he mentioned his favourite book: Man-Eaters of Kumaon Book by Jim Corbett I can see why. Superb book.

Really enjoyed that series.

The only thing that worries me about stock piling meat (and I do, particularly game at the end of season) is that we have having multiple day power cuts with all the storms. Having taken and processed several deer, losing them would be a heartbreaker.
