Tomorrow morning for me, nice and early
Err I'm sure I asked this last time, but I don't think I got a response: how can I find everybody once I arrive at the site?
Get to the toilet block and shout "hello" They'll hear ya !!
Follow the smoke
Very "28 days later" cheers for that will do, if i survive the walk from the station.
If you're going via Kearsley; when you get off the train & go off the platform ,there's a path & some steps to your left. Go down the steps and left at the bottom. The other side of the bridge there's a bus stop . take a 512 or 513 to Wood st. Ringley. It's only about 5 stops down but there's a fair hill involved. Back track about 100yds and site entrance is in the crook of the bend.
Fantastic weekend, really enjoyed it. A big thanks to everyone for making it such a great meet especially Dave for organising and Riam and the guys for putting on the forge in the field. The site was beautiful, all the Bluebells out in force.
A few pics
Thank you for a great weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was great to meet you all. I think I might stay away from the gin next time.... I mean rum. Sorry for the bad jokes Below is a small collection of images that were captured by my portable communications device. Unfortunately said device is terrible in low light conditions so no photos of the group Oh and I found my spoon in the end
This is dawn on Saturday morning. Time for bed.
Al is actually pointing at the fire here.
Drying out some wood.
Sorry I couldn't make it back, but I still can't find my sleeping bag. Sounds like you all had a good night.
Thanks, Dave for sorting out my hammock, just a shame I didn't get chance to use it. See you all next time.
Great meet guys
I really enjoyed the forging and have a few photo's that i'll put on when i get 5 mins.

I was looking forward to the meet myself, but the norovirus/gastric flu got me on Thursday.

Great meet guys.. Shame I had to jib off to work for a lot of it, but still made some good mates and had a good banter. Here's to the next instalment.
