Wild Britain with Ray Mears with extra bits on Eden

Exclusive, hour-long episodes of Ray’s most recent series, Wild Britain with Ray Mears, are to be shown shortly on the Sky channel Eden. The series, which was originally aired on ITV 1 last year in 30 minute slots, will now be shown on Eden with additional, never-seen-before footage on each episode.

Its on at 10.00am on Monday 4th April on the Eden channel.

Does anyone know if the DVD includes the extra stuff that's being broadcast on Eden. I hope so, as someone's getting it for my birthday!

Nice, Monday is my day off so i'll be looking forward to that in spanking HD.

Be interesting to see what is "extra". whether it's extended footage on the subjects already covered or totally new stuff never seen.

That was a much better programme in its hour format. Even a decent amount of extra bushcraft skills thrown in for good measure. Had a much more settled pace about it and I enjoyed it far more than I did when I watched the cut down ITV version last year. Looking forward to the rest now

It's on regular Eden everynight at 6, 8 and 10pm. Different episode each night.

I didn't think much to it when shown on ITV, but last night I really took to it, a much better format and a nice blend of content. Now all we need it to loose the adverts and we're laughing!

I enjoyed watching the little blue Tit steal the downy feathers out the Goshawks Nest- that wee bird was nails!!

I missed the series last year, so I'm looking forward to catching up now
