I don't see BBC in Lithuania, but i do know this program and at the moment really looking forward to see part 4. I need to download this stuff, but never the less it's amazing! And lady too! :D :D For me the best bit is that I was studying the human journey this year in my uni, so i can compare the stuff and learn something more as well.

Alice Roberts was Mrs Wallenstein's tutor down in Bristol when SWMBO was finishing her anatomy degree - she's a really good teacher, and is as nice in person as she seems on TV.

I think I can honestly say, without fear of future contradiction, that Dr Alice is the most loveliest person on TV. And I'd like to point out that my love for her is quite pure and idealised and not at all sullied with carnal thoughts.
Oh, alright, yes it is.
She's lovely.

Can we throw Kate Humble, Julia Bradbury, Christine Bleakley and Doctor Alice in a big mixing machine and see what comes out the other end please.

I don't like to bang on about it, but can we get back to the exquisite and perfectly formed Christine Bleakley as soon as possible, please?

Chill Greg,..... just having a bit of banter on 'Other chatter'. C'mon you have to admit Dr Alice is worth a mention for all her attributes. :) Just having a 'tin bath' mate. No worries.:beerchug:

I'm a science geek. I want there to be more female science geeks. The fact that female scientists in the public eye still get judged mainly on their looks is one of the things that puts girls off science. I count only 4 posts in this thread, not including my own, that don't dwell mainly or entirely on her "physical attributes". It's not like there's any shortage of porn out there if you're that way inclined.

There are times when opining about someone's physical attractiveness is perfectly appropriate, but a discussion their scientific outreach work isn't one of them, in my opinion. It's crass. I haven't seen it yet, but apparently the show was very good. Anybody want to talk about that?

Also, she's married. Now, I hate to appeal to patriarchal gender roles, but do you make a habit of publicly ogling other men's wives? How does that normally go down?

Good grief, it's getting like a bleedin' frat house in here.

Over reaction mate. She's a clever and as it happens attractive lady. We're just having a laugh and I'm sure if the girls were discussing David Beckhams (who is also married) attributes no one would be offended.
Chill out dude. Alice would probably be flattered.
The show was very good and shes a very clever lady. I enjoyed her narrative and her pleasing looks. that's probably the combination the BBC were after. It certainly pulled in the punters. Don't get so airiated. It dosn't matter if someone is attractve or not on a TV series it just happens she is. Relax. :headbang:
