Welcome to my garage/canoegear store/cycle store/workshop/chaos area.
The cieling holds stores of wood for projects, the hanging shelving is from bread crates reclaimed from the river, tool storage is from a skipped dressing table, the workbench from a skipped door....
My wife did, within living memory, keep a car in here......

OK, serious shed envy time ... here's where Robin hangs out:
house-2.jpg

In through the doors that open onto the track at the centre of that shot is his turning shop:

and in through the 'upstairs' doors in the end of the shed is a big space where Robin stores wood and uses when he's making outdoor furniture. (When we lived in the cottage next door we used it for teaching, but now we're down in the village we find the Village Hall is much better!)

Now that's a shed :D

I will finish that project for you as well ,,, sorry i am taking so long
I'm organising an exhibition to go in the metalwork room in the Millennium Galleries in Sheffield next February which would be good exposure for your work if you can find the time to get it made ... I would like to have some of your friction folders to display alongside the slip joints.

This is my shop (shed). The older part was attached to a house that burned 30 years ago. The new part was built over the ruble filled basement.

Thickness plainer, scroll saw, band saw and sander.

P1000336.jpg

48" pan for boiling wood and a small drill press for drilling box sides.

P1000335.jpg

Assembly bench. cane, for lacing, hanging in corner.

You see a lot of stools setting around. As an old man I set down a lot.

The shop refrigerator is well stocked, and enjoyed by my visitors and myself (if I am not running power tools).

Stop by my shop any time, I will keep a cool one for you.

I expanded my shed empire last week with this little number.

Not pretty but does the job of storing the trailer roof when not in use and acting as shelter for the forge and anvil.
