But I can't stand drinking coffee out of plastic! Has to be drunk from bone china :)
I had a few of those mugs but, eventually, they started spurting coffee granuals past the seal and I've chucked them.

This is my new coffee mug = kupilka 37.

Minimalist approach.

Step 1 ) Take instant coffee granules packet ( if you must , have the sugar and whitener pre mixed in ) , tear end off with teeth, pour inverted pouch into open mouth after via pivoting of neck.

Step 2 ) - Use water canteen - raise to lips and pour. - Little water = espresso , more water - Flat White

Enjoy your speedy barbarianism and the scolding of Broch

Mr Bean did precisely this when leaving the house in a rush. Ugh...

I go old school...I brew it up in my billy can then whirl the can round in over arm circles. Centrifugal force does the rest.

Scares the hell out of anyone ina 15ft radius but works surprisingly well.

I hear pouring cold water from height into your billy can also pull the grinds to the bottom but I've never tried it; it's more fun doing the whole whirling caffeine dervish routine.

I was just about to make a new post about camp coffee making and happened across this post, daaaaaaaaamn it’s complicated this coffee making. I am new to it all, relatively speaking, coffee drinking that is. All the different and preferred methods, mind is blown

Not really brewing, but I enjoy Nescaffe on the trail alot.
Combined with an alcohol or twig stove.

On vacation in the Eifel as we speak..

Cups and stove fit in the pot.

As biscuit manufacturers reduce the amount of increasingly expensive cocoa in their “chocolate” coverings they have been forced label it “chocolate flavoured coating.”
Instant coffee could be labelled similarly as “coffee flavoured water.”

As for decaf ……….

However:
If you enjoy it that’s great.
If it’s good enough on the trail and you don’t mind then you’ll use it, of course you will.

But
Coffee it ain’t.

It’s so easy to make coffee on the move or in camp.
See all the posts above.
