Looks perfectly practical to me, besides canals there are loads of sloping road embankments and big verges it would be ideal for. I'll let you have a go, there's too many movable parts in different directions for me.

Reminds me of when the shore side team sent a lawnmower to the offshore gas production platform for as joke. Who painted it green and fixed it to the side of the green helideck.

From time to time I respond to readers questions in the New Scientist. (In an amateur exchange column)

Two weeks ago a comedian posed the question:

Why do human beings feel the urge to share their thoughts with others?​

This to a column specifically for sharing thoughts and ideas!!!

I thought I’d send a smile to the column editor and sent the reply:

“I couldn’t possibly say.”

………… and they printed it!
