Yes , more a pungent green but I did throw the whole bottle at it. Because..... You know.... impatience.Mmm... brighter than I was expecting but certainly green![]()

So I dyed the pack the other day -;one full bottle of Dark green has pushed it into Jungle green territory. View attachment 98517View attachment 98518

Interesting to see what has and what hasn't picked up the colour change - The Mesh clearly hasn't which I found interesting. The Snow Baffle ( not shown ) has changed to Green , the buckles have not.
This for me is an improvement over the MTP , which looks lighter and more garish than in the 1st photo.
However - Mr Bezos has delivered a Rit Dye Tan/Bronce and I've already got the kettle on brewing up some Hot water - So I'm going to redye over the top of this Lurid Green with a 1/4 of a bottle and see what comes out.
I will keep you posted
We will find out - I've just hung the bergen up to dry off which can take a day or two and the 'true' colour is difficult to ascertain before its fully dry.The brown dye give you a tactical Kermit.

Looking at the outcome and seeing how certain colours have come through I think If I have to do a MTP again I would look at chocolate brown as a base colour over wash
Tricky one - There does seem to be quite abit of technical support on their website and the actual instructions but I guess you won't know until you've dabbled... No chance of a sacrificial piece of similar material from somewhere so you can try some experimental swatches?I was wondering about this. I think I would be tempted to try and bleach first to reduce the intensity and sort of desaturate the original colours.
I want to do a whole tent but the risk of it coming out naff (and the cost) is putting me off. Because it has some stains on it I would probably try a detergent wash, a mild bleach, green dye, then reproof. Dunno, is it worth it? (the tent is a Robens Fairbanks).

If it’s synthetic material bleach won’t work too well, household bleach anyway, and if it’s natural material the bleach might eat it so it falls apart (based on some long ago experience with black drain pipe jeans).

I reckon that looks great. Reminds me of the WW2 British airbourne camo colours.
