I have modified this pack, replacing the bitterly painful leather straps with Savotta's Kahakka Harness, details here:

I have had to make repair to the rucksack, the righthand side frame loop failed and I replaced it with nylon strap, sewn with rot proof sewing thread. It works a treat and has not affected the pack in anyway. I have included a picture of the repair. I also replaced the draw cord with 550 cord, which is nearly a metres worth and tightens better than the original plastic rope cord.
Im open to trades, would love a Savotta Happy Face twig stove, or maybe a small puukko, or maybe a used Helikon Swagman poncho or similar. But saying that, let me know what you have for trade, I may be interested!!
