8.5 miles yesterday evening with a total ascent of 746m. Fan Frynych (629m)> Craig Cerrig-gleisiad (629m)> Fan Fawr (734m)> Y Gyrn (619m). I started from two miles North of Storey Arms and finished with a walk along an old drovers road which took me back to my starting place. The walk down from Y Gyrn was very off-piste, and very steep with a lot of bracken to navigate through.

I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking. hope you enjoy..

This ground to the West of Y Gyrn is STEEP. Photo's really do not do it justice.

Old Drover road to the right of the A470 if heading towards Brecon.

Brilliant walk, and thank you for sharing.

I have to say though; that looks like prime tick country among the bracken.
Thank you Toddy.

I've never had a tick in the Brecon Beacons. I did change out of shorts and in to walking trousers when I got to the bracken, though.
