Yeh, I had a look through that site the other day when you posted the link. Looks really good. Their kits look good.

Yes Pete mine will be the same pattern as the bush shirt but a lot looser with a ruff

I pretty much admire anyone who has made their own anorak. Some years ago I downloaded the instructions for sewing up an anorak. I got as far as "Getting Prepared", then skipped to the end, wrote a check to Kevin at Empire Canvas in Duluth, MN, and have been living happily ever after.

Depends on what you mean by "suitable". If you like the way Ventile protects you from rain, then I don't see why not. I personally wouldn't do it except for under very specific circumstances.
