Not everybody's thing, but I liked the colour scheme. This is the new one in 9Cr19MoV, equivalent to 440c, no idea of the hardness, the choil is a bit meh, but the blade is a little sharper out the box than the original, and the thumb ramp a little less in the way, and it has a full visible tang. Another difference is the original had a slight hollow grind profile, this one is a solid sabre grind.

See them all the time in the shop, but have yet to handle one for real.

Looks like the new version has some nice little refinements. Good they've evolved rather than just stick to a design. Shows development and taking on feedback.

just out of interest bud how much is the new version. I just brought the other version you have in your pic last week brand new to the door for 53quid just want too see if the updated model is alot more expensive

In the UK, eg outdoorgb, uttings, retailing for around £90. I got lucky on amazon.com and a seller called outfitter country, who had cheap international shipping, worked out at about £60, and luckly didn't get stung for import charges. No connection to the retailers except the last one as a happy customer.

Great looking knife but man he's got a camp signature! I'm sure I've seen Bear written like that on my sisters old Care Bears magazines ;)
