ooh thats thin ice there and no mistake. i would proffer the opinion that the example you give is an example of our species being psychologically unable to ''play well with others'' . an example from the lower apes being the chimps, they like to get all warry with neighbouring family groups. resulting in infanticide and canabilism.
now you could argue that we are no differant, but we are sentient and apparently possess a conscience! millenias of wars and genocide say otherwise perhaps.
