I own the same design chair, but it is slightly different. It's called the Mantis by Alite. Google "Alite Mantis" and you'll see it. I look forward to purchasing the Helinox in the next few weeks (the only USA source is Big Agnes, and they're out of stock) and doing a YouTube comparison. From the specs, which may or may not be accurate, the Helinox sits a little bit higher off the ground, which I think would be a good thing. We'll see. As far as the feet penetrating the soft ground, yep, that's what they do, and to be expected unless the manufacturers wanna put a small trekking pole basket at the end of the legs. Personally, I think I'll prefer the more rounded feet of my Alite Mantis because they don't tear holes in my nylon picnic blanket. The Helinox's feet look like they would, and provide no discernible benefit. I look forward to comparing the two. By the way, the Mantis is very comfortable for my 5'6"/150lb frame, but it's a chore to get up out of the chair. That's why the Helinox "may" be better. The back on the Mantis comes up higher, though, which is a good thing. We'll see......
